I can remember the first time I joined #beginner about 5 years ago. I felt so welcome there right away. The people were so nice and I made so many friends automatically, and learned lots too!

#Beginner is a great place to learn cool stuff about irc...and to just chat. I've been chatting for 5 years on and off...and I'm STILL learning stuff! Now that I have the opportunity to actually teach the newbies that come in wanting to know things...it makes me feel proud of both myself for coming so far...but also excited to be a part of this wonderful channel...and great bunch of people that make helping people possible. The ops and voices (*g*) of #beginner really make this channel a special place.

Anyways, I'm sure you're all thinking, "Oh, Loli, you could go on for ages here..." but I seriously don't know what else to say. Write the date down...the day Loli was speechless! (Hey, bozzy...think it'll become an official #Beginner holiday?? *giggle*) ;) ooohhh.....now there's a thought ;)
