X Bans

For setting a ban with X, there are usually two choices. If the person is still online, then you only need to type:

/msg X ban nickname hours level reason

Example:
/msg X ban bossmom 12 75 flooding

This means that I'd be banned for 12 hours, by a level 75 op, for flooding.

If the person is no longer online, then you would simply use the type 3 ban mask (as an example), which would look like this:

/msg X ban *!*userid@*.domain hours level reason

Example:
/msg X ban *!*bossmom@*.netins.net 12 75 flooding

Does this all cloud everything up? lol I hope not, but hope that it's helpful to any of you with questions. We'll continue to provide ban information in here as needed.
