I've been teaching myself how to script for just a couple of weeks.  I've been doing a lot of web searches, and somewhere along the way say a way to add a lag/delay to multi-line creations so one doesn't get kicked for flooding.  Now, I'm ready to add that to a few of my creations, but I 1) can't remember how, and 2) don't remember the site I was on where I saw that info.  I don't know the real name of what I want to do, so searching the mIRC help files is just frustrating.  Help me please?

The place to look in the mIRC help files is at the Timers section. There are good examples there. Try a few and if it still doesn't work you could paste your code in here and we could certainly take a look at it Smiley   (type /help timers in any window to see the section.)
